• American Heritage Schools Presents 'Xanadu JR.' 11/5/26 (soulofmiami.org) — Plantation theater lovers can catch American Heritage Schools' Broward Campus students performing the musical 'Xanadu JR.' on Nov. 5 and 6 at the Main Stage Theater on West Broward Boulevard. For $20, audiences get a high-energy, family-friendly show packed with 1980s music, roller-disco fun, and a showcase of the school's award-winning performing arts program right in town.
• Golf for a Cause with Wonder Paws Rescue 10/17/26 (soulofmiami.org) — Plantation residents can spend Saturday, Oct. 17, golfing at Jacaranda Golf Club to support Wonder Paws Rescue's work saving abandoned and abused pets across South Florida. The $75 event includes a BBQ lunch, open bar, on-course snacks, big-prize contests, and a 6 p.m. awards banquet with raffles and a silent auction, all benefiting animals in need.
• Fort Lauderdale Sweeps Plantation, Chaminade-Madonna In BCAA Championships Tuneup (wordpress.com) — Plantation High's swim teams fell to Fort Lauderdale in a midweek tune-up, but several Plantation athletes still posted strong individual results in the pool. The meet set the stage for Saturday's BCAA Swimming and Diving Championships, which will be held at the Plantation Aquatic Complex, giving local fans a chance to see top county swimmers compete close to home.
