• Ponte Vedra Beach man sentenced to more than 7 years for COVID-19 fraud scheme (news4jax.com) — A Ponte Vedra Beach resident has been sentenced to more than seven years in federal prison and ordered to forfeit millions after admitting to a COVID-19-era investment fraud involving a fake medical supply business. Prosecutors say he fabricated PPE contracts, falsified bank records and used investor money to cover debts and personal expenses, prompting strong warnings from federal authorities.
