• Driver stopped with PIT maneuver after fleeing ICE, trooper in Ponte Vedra Beach: FHP (news4jax.com) — Law enforcement used a controlled PIT maneuver on State Road A1A in Ponte Vedra Beach to stop a pickup whose driver allegedly refused to pull over for ICE and Florida Highway Patrol. A 23-year-old Jacksonville man was detained, then transferred to federal immigration custody, while his passenger was also taken in for immigration processing.
