1 Injured In Shooting, Suspect Sought: Sarasota Police
Investigators are working to identify the suspect in a Monday evening shooting in Sarasota, police said.
SARASOTA, FL — One person was injured in a Monday evening shooting in Sarasota.
The shooting happened near the 2700 block of Gillespie Avenue just after 8 p.m., according to a Sarasota Police Department news release.
An adult victim suffered a non-life-threatening injury in the shooting.

The shooting seems to be an isolated incident and there’s no immediate danger to the public, police said.
