$15M FL Lottery Prize Claimed By Port Charlotte Man
A 48-year-old Port Charlotte man won the $15M top prize from the BILLION DOLLAR GOLD RUSH SUPREME scratch-off game.
PORT CHARLOTTE, FL — A 48-year-old Port Charlotte man won the top prize from the BILLION DOLLAR GOLD RUSH SUPREME scratch-off game, the Florida Lottery said in a news release.
This is the largest scratch-off prize offered by the Florida Lottery.
Adam Charlton chose to receive his winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $13.2 million. He claimed his prize at Florida Lottery’s headquarters in Tallahassee.

Charlton purchased his winning ticket from Publix at 3941 Tamiami Trail in Punta Gorda. The retailer will receive a $30,000 bonus commission for selling the winning ticket.
The BILLION DOLLAR GOLD RUSH SUPREME game launched in February and features four top prizes of $15 million. The game also features 24 prizes of $1 million. The overall odds of winning are 1-in-2.59, Florida Lottery said.
