$1M Florida Lottery Prize Claimed By Sarasota County Man
A North Port man won $1 million playing the Gold Rush Limited scratch-off game, Florida Lottery said.
NORTH PORT, FL — A 30-year-old Sarasota County man won a $1 million prize playing the Gold Rush Limited scratch-off game, Florida Lottery said in a news release.
Ryan Temple of North Port chose to receive his winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $795,000. He claimed his prize at Florida Lottery’s Fort Myers district office.
Temple purchased his winning ticket from Publix at 19451 Cocharan Blvd. in Port Charlotte. The retailer will receive a $2,000 bonus commission for selling the ticket.

Gold Rush Limited, a $20 scratch-off game, launched in September and features 32 top prizes of $5 million and 100 prizes of $1 million. Additionally, this ticket is filled with over 33,000 prizes of $1,000 to $100,000. The game's overall odds of winning are 1-in-2.65.
