Sarasota Co. Woman Wins $1M In FL Lottery Scratch-Off

SARASOTA, FL — A 67-year-old North Port woman scored big in the Florida Lottery this week.
The woman won $1 million in the 500x the Cash scratch-off game, according to lottery officials on Tuesday. She received her winnings in a one-time, lump-sum payment of $640,000, lottery officials said.
The ticket was bought from Circle K, 41 Tamiami Trail in Port Charlotte.

The Sarasota County woman was among six others who won $1 million prizes this week.
The 500x the Cash scratch-off offers a massive prize of $25 million. The odds of being the top winner are 1 in 4.23, lottery officials said. There are at least $1.66 billion in cash prizes for the game.
