O’Leary’s, Sharky’s In Sarasota County Make List Of Favorite Florida Beach Bars: USA Today

SARASOTA, FL – Two Sarasota County watering holes were included in a list of USA Today’s favorite Florida beach bars.

O’Leary’s Tiki Bar and Grill, located at 5 Bayfront Drive, offers a waterfront experience just a quick walk from Sarasota’s downtown. It’s located in Island Park, overlooking Sarasota Bay. O’Leary’s opens daily at 8 a.m. and has its own beach and dock. Come enjoy the tropical drinks and live music, or grab a bite to eat, as it serves breakfast, lunch and dinner daily.

Sharky’s on the Pier, located at 1600 Harbor Drive S. in Venice, is located at the base of the Venice Fishing Pier on Brohard Beach, overlooking the Gulf of Mexico. It’s known for its Gulf views, live music and signature frozen drinks like the Shark Bite, Pier Pressure and Sharky’s Citrus Margarita.
