3 FL Cities Among Best For Date Nights In U.S.: List

Sarasota took the No. 1 spot on the new Top 10 Date Night Cities in the U.S. ranking and two other FL cities also landed on the list.

FLORIDA — Three Florida cities are among the Top 10 Date Night Cities in the U.S., one even nabbing the top spot on a new list from BonusFinder.com.

Sarasota ranked No. 1 on the list, while Orlando landed at No. 6 and Fort Lauderdale took the No. 8 spot.

The website looked at 160 cities across the country to compile the list, looking at various data, including the price for meal for two, price for a bottle of wine, price for two movie tickets, number of romantic restaurants, numbers of bars and pubs, number of fun date night activities and games, number of couple-friendly attractions, number of romantic hotels, number of spas, and number of cafes, bakeries, and dessert shops.

Sarasota earned a score of 87.7 out of 100.

The list suggested that couples enjoy a sunset stroll on Siesta Key Beach, waterfront dining overlooking Sarasota Bay, and visits to the Ringling Museum of Art or the Sarasota Opera.

Orlando earned a score of 71.7 out of 100, while Fort Lauderdale earned 71.3.
