3 'Johns' Busted in Sarasota Prostitution Sting
A crackdown on prostitution was held Tuesday.

Three men face criminal charges after Sarasota Police say they attempted to solicit the services of prostitutes recently.
The department’s street crimes and narcotics units took to the 4200 block and 1400 block of North Tamiami Trail Tuesday night in an effort to curb prostitution activity in the area, especially near Whitaker Park.

Three “Johns,” an email from the department stated, were arrested as a result of that operation. Those arrested were:

Steven W. Sutor, 54, of Bradenton
- Charge: Solicitation for Prostitution
Sutor was arrested at Whitaker Park
Joel Sanchez Luna, 30, of Sarasota
- Charge: Solicitation for Prostitution
Luna was arrested at Whitaker Park
All three men were booked into the Sarasota County Jail and were later released in lieu of $120 bond.
