Even though the Citrus Café offers limited indoor seating, the outdoor dining space is just perfect this time of year. With its outdoor tables and umbrellas, the brick patio, the fountain, and the historical buildings, one cannot help but feel a little bit of European cafe influence. However this is not a European but rather a Sarasota styled cafe.

Primarily a breakfast and lunch spot, the Citrus Café offers a range of creative sandwiches, soups, and salads all served in a very casual, relaxed setting.

We found the wait staff to be friendly, responsive, and efficient checking back often and offering to top off our drinks. In addition to a wide range of soft drinks, the Citrus Café also offers a limited selection of beer and wine to complement your meal.

All of the food was fresh, bright, and served with style. It seems like each dish had a signature ingredient added to set it apart. Two examples, the addition of citrus to the spinach salad and the seasoning in the potato salad, just add that little something that makes you remember the dish.
