‘American Pickers’ Returning To FL; How You Could Be On Show
Have a treasured antique collection to share? "American Pickers" star Mike Wolfe is heading to Florida in search of rare finds.

FLORIDA — As “American Pickers” stars Mike Wolfe and Danielle Colby scour the country for hidden gems this year, they’re planning to return to Florida to film new shows in December – and they want to see your treasured collections.
Since 2010, the hit History Channel documentary series has put a new spin on antique “picking.”
As the show’s website says, “This isn’t your grandmother’s antiquing.”

The show’s stars travel coast to coast to search through private, individual collections in hopes of finding forgotten relics they can restore. They’re willing to go just about anywhere to pick through junkyards, basements, garages and basements – basically, anywhere that isn’t a public space, like flea markets, malls, auction businesses, museums or shops - to find long-forgotten pieces and learn their stories.
“As they hit the back roads from coast to coast, the Pickers are on a mission to recycle and rescue forgotten relics. Along the way, they want to meet characters with remarkable and exceptional items. They hope to give historically significant objects a new lease on life while learning a thing or two about America’s past along the way,” the production team said in a press release, according to the Bradenton Herald.
