Building on its commitment to cultivating talent from within, All Faiths Food Bank has announced a new round of staff promotions across its development and human resources teams. These advancements reflect the organization’s ongoing focus on strengthening internal expertise while positioning the team to meet increasing community needs.
Within the development department, several team members have stepped into expanded leadership roles. Rachel Bradley has been promoted to senior director of philanthropy. In this role, she leads comprehensive fundraising strategies – overseeing individual giving while also managing all corporate partnerships and legacy gifts (donors who have chosen to include the food bank in their estate plans). Bradley maintains a portfolio of more than 300 donors, working closely with supporters to deepen engagement and ensure long-term philanthropic investment in the organization’s mission.
Nina Harrelson has been promoted to senior director of strategic communications. She oversees the organization’s communications, marketing and public relations work, guiding messaging strategy and brand voice across all channels. A former news anchor and reporter, Harrelson also manages the communications team – leading storytelling, media relations, website and social media initiatives, digital engagement, and branding efforts that elevate awareness, strengthen community partnerships and support fundraising goals.
Renee Simon has been promoted to manager of grants. In her role, she leads the development, writing and management of grant proposals and reports – working closely with internal teams and funding partners to secure and steward critical resources. Her work ensures alignment between funding opportunities and programmatic priorities, helping sustain and expand services for neighbors in need.
In human resources, Chuck Loesche has been promoted to senior HR manager. He oversees key human resources functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management and professional development. Loesche plays a central role in fostering a positive workplace culture and supporting staff as the organization continues to grow and evolve.
“I’m incredibly proud of this team and the passion they bring to our mission,” said Nelle S. Miller, All Faiths Food Bank president and CEO. “It truly takes a village to meet the needs we’re seeing across our community, and these leaders are a big part of that effort. Supporting their growth means we can continue showing up for our neighbors in meaningful ways.”
As demand for food assistance grows, the organization continues to prioritize building a team that is both experienced and closely aligned with the communities it reaches.
In 2025, All Faiths Food Bank supported more than 433,000 household visits and distributed 18.7 million meals across Sarasota and DeSoto counties – a reflection of both rising need and the critical role of strong leadership at every level of the organization.
