Civix Property Management partners with American Momentum Bank

Sarasota-based association management company will leverage CINC Systems integration as it continues to grow

Civix Property Management, a Sarasota-based association management company, has partnered with American Momentum Bank to provide enhanced banking services to the homeowner’s associations (HOAs) and condominium associations (COAs) it serves. The partnership will include integration with CINC Systems, a leading provider of accounting and community management software.

Civix Property Management is a full-service association management company that combines decades of local expertise with cutting-edge technology to provide transparent, efficient and community-focused management. They currently work with more than 35 associations in Sarasota and Manatee counties.

“We’re honored to welcome Civix Property Management to our growing roster of association banking clients,” said Tammy Zuknick, vice president of association banking at American Momentum Bank. “The team is very business-minded and poised for sustainable growth. We are looking forward to supporting them in this growth and helping them streamline their operations and enhance association management offerings with full CINC integration.”

Civix Property Management partners Justin Gonzalez, LCAM, CMCA®, AMS®, and Kevin Wiegand have a combined 35 years of experience in association management in the Sarasota area. When they started the company, they evaluated more than a dozen association management software tools, including CINC.

CINC Systems is the AI-native platform built specifically for community association management. With more than 20 years of integrated data spanning accounting, operations, resident experience, banking, and payments – and direct integrations to 38+ partner banks – CINC gives management companies, community managers, and HOA and COA boards a single connected system to run their day-to-day work. At launch, Civix didn't meet CINC's minimum unit threshold and went with another provider.

“We had some frustrations with our previous software integrations,” said Gonzalez. “While it served us well for the time period, we knew that it wasn’t the end game for us.”

After a few years of growth, Civix moved to CINC, initially keeping the bank they'd worked with for more than a decade. As they migrated clients onto the platform, they began evaluating other banking partners. Their controller, Cheryl Price, recommended reaching out to Zuknick at American Momentum Bank, someone she'd worked with at a previous company.

American Momentum Bank has been a CINC banking partner since 2017, with a robust integration that gives Civix's team direct access to the operational efficiencies built into the CINC platform – expanded transfers, ACH payments, and real-time banking information that supports accurate balances and clean reconciliations.

“We decided to move to American Momentum because of the operational efficiencies available with the bank’s integration with CINC,” said Wiegard. “Moreover, because of their superb communication, responsiveness and attention to detail.”

That responsiveness has continued. Civix has been especially impressed with the bank's quick turnaround and proactive support during peak seasons.

“The personal touch that we get from American Momentum has been excellent,” said Gonzalez. “During our busy seasons, we’ve never had to follow up with them to get something. If anything, it’s the opposite. They are providing more communication during these times and alerting us to changes and updates to improve our business and better support our clients. In addition, we’re able to expedite service because their response time is so fast.”

These efficiencies will help support Civix Property Management as it grows – something that Gonzalez and Wiegand are exploring at a measured pace. They’re also focused on creating partnerships with local associations and vendors that can support them, from bankers to insurance agents and attorneys.

“We are a local company that supports local HOAs, and building relationships is an important part of our culture,” said Wiegand. “American Momentum Bank shares this commitment. It’s great to have a strong banking relationship, but right now we’re experiencing more than just that. We’re experiencing a true partnership.”
