Sarasota Police Probe Report of Gunfire On North Tamiami Trail

SARASOTA, FL — Sarasota police are investigating a report of shots fired on Wednesday, around 10 a.m., in the 3400 block of North Tamiami Trail.

No injuries were reported in the shooting, and investigators offered few details about the incident.

All individuals involved are accounted for and cooperating, police said.

Detectives believe the shooting was an isolated incident.

The case remains under investigation.
