Tickets now on sale for All Faiths Food Bank’s Bowls of Hope fundraiser

It's nearly time once again for one of the most popular – and delicious – fundraisers of the year, as All Faiths Food Bank presents the 20th anniversary of Bowls of Hope. This family-friendly event supports All Faiths Food Bank's work in Sarasota and DeSoto counties, benefiting our neighbors who are experiencing hunger.

Bowls of Hope takes place Sunday, November 8, at 11 a.m. at Ed Smith Stadium (2700 12th St., Sarasota). This year's event is chaired by Ruth Hochman.

Each year, Bowls of Hope attendees choose up to three signature dishes prepared by dozens of the community's finest restaurants and caterers as they serve delicious soups, bread, desserts and more. Guests select and take home beautiful, handcrafted bowls – all donated by local potters, woodworkers, artists and students – while enjoying a modest meal as a reminder of the empty bowls they help to fill across Sarasota and DeSoto counties.

"As our neighbors do their best to make ends meet with prices continuing to rise for food, gas and housing – while government policy decisions hurt the most vulnerable among us – we look forward to gathering once again as a community to support local businesses and raise funds to help families," said All Faiths Food Bank President and CEO Nelle S. Miller. "We are grateful to the Baltimore Orioles, our restaurant partners and all who support the event through sponsorships and attendance."

General admission tickets are $40/adults, $15/children 12 and under (does not include ceramic bowl). Sponsorships, which range from $750-$10,000, entitle sponsors to early entry for the Bubbles, Beignets and Bowls Reception, which begins at 10 a.m.
