Andrea’s has been open since 2009, but before that Chef Andrea Bozzolo was the founding chef and co-owner of Divino on Main Street where he earned awards and a reputation for the highest quality contemporary Italian dishes. That reputation has followed him to Andrea’s, where he has continued to amaze diners with signature Italian dishes. Chef Andrea makes his own breads and pastas daily and uses organic local produce, seafood and meats whenever possible. His menus follow the seasons and generally change every three months, although he retains several house specialties. Chef Andrea is passionate about wines and his cellar has more than 5,000 bottles, carefully selected to pair with contemporary Italian food.
Andrea Bozzolo was born in Pallanza in Piedmont, Italy. His passion for food dates to childhood days spent at his grandparents’ farm. He studied at the highly regarded hotel school in Stresa, Italy, and worked in Europe before moving to Siesta Key in 2003 after vacationing on the barrier island the year before. Now Chef Andrea Bozzolo brings his unique culinary creativity, expertise and passion for the art of food and wine to southwest Florida.
