Animal Lovers Demand 'Justice for Foxx'
The little dog was found beaten to death in South Florida with a mocking note taped to his body.
As the search for the person or people responsible for the death of a pint-sized Pomeranian named Foxx continues, a reward is being offered to help bring those responsible to justice.
As of Wednesday, Broward County Crime Stoppers was offering a reward of $3,000 in the case, the Pembroke Pines Police Department announced on its Facebook page. Donations are also being accepted to add to the reward amount.
Foxx, a 13-year-old Pomeranian, was found lifeless over the weekend near his owner, Ronald Boisvertās home. A handwritten note was taped to Foxxās body. That note read: āWE BEAT IT 2 Death lol! HAHAHA!ā

Authorities believe the beating death occurred sometime between 1 p.m. Aug. 7 and 8 a.m. Aug. 8 along French Drive in Pembroke Pines. They are telling pet owners in the area they believe the incident is isolated.
āWhile we always encourage animal owners to be cautions with leaving their pets unattended, we have no reason to believe that other dogs are at risk at this time,ā the agency wrote on Facebook.
As the search for Foxxās killer continues, his owner has established a Facebook page of his own to keep those interested in updates aware of any new developments. The Justice for Foxx the Pomeranian page was launched on Tuesday and already had more than 2,000 followers as of Thursday morning.
āWe just want to thank everyone for sharing our posts and for those people who have called into Crime Stoppers with tips,ā Boisvert wrote on the page. ā(The) Pembroke Pines Police Department has been amazing and we canāt thank them enough for putting all their effort into helping us find who did this to our little Foxx.ā
