Armed Robbery Suspect On Electric Scooter Sought: Sarasota Police

SARASOTA, FL — Officers are searching for an armed robbery suspect last seen leaving Arlington Park Monday around 4:30 p.m., according to a Sarasota Police Department news release.

The suspect left the park on an electric scooter.

He’s described as a Hispanic man in his late twenties or early thirties, police said. The suspect has long hair and was wearing dark-colored clothing, socks and no shoes.

If anyone sees someone matching this description, they shouldn’t approach him and should call 911 right away, the agency said.
