TAMPA BAY, FL — The arts community in the greater Tampa Bay area continues to thrive, with plenty of exhibits, events and programs to keep you busy.

As far as Pinellas County's tourism bureau, Visit St. Pete/Clearwater, is concerned, all the county's a stage and its white-sand beaches, scenic waterfronts and quaint downtowns are the stars. The St. Pete/Clearwater Film Commission announced that a film crew will be shooting the feature film "A Taste of Love" in Dunedin and other locales around the county during the next three weeks as part of a production that will be partly financed by the Pinellas County government.

Creativity abounds at the Emerging Artist Exhibition at The Gallery at Creative Pinellas, 12211 Walsingham Road, Largo. Running through Aug. 15, the Emerging Artist Exhibit can be viewed Wednesday through Sunday from noon to 5 p.m.
Art In Common Places Brings Poetry, Visual Art To Ordinary Spaces
Sarasota is known for its vibrant arts community, but the work isn't always accessible to the average person, says the founders of a new nonprofit. The women behind Art in Common Places — arts enthusiast Cynthia Burnell, visual artist Leslie Butterfield and poet Teresa Carson — came together to find a way to bring the arts front and center in unlikely spaces throughout the community.
Through its "Para el Futuro/For the Future" initiative, CreArte Latino Cultural Center will expand its community presence and reopen in a new 4,500-square-foot space in Sarasota, according to a news release from the organization.
'Shazam' Hollywood Stuntman Opens 2 Businesses Serving Lakeland
A Hollywood stuntman who has performed in many movies — including "Avengers: End Game" and "Fear of Rain" — has opened two businesses serving Polk County residents. Keil Zepernick, 44, who is currently in Atlanta working on stunts for "Shazam! 2", had a hard time finding work during the pandemic in 2020.
Dunedin Music Society Receives Top Ranking For Nonprofits
The world's largest source of information about nonprofits has awarded its top rating to the Dunedin Music Society. Guidestar commended the Dunedin Music Society for going above and beyond expectations to be transparent about its activities and finances.
