Arts & Artisans Day Returns Saturday, Nov. 1

Arts & Artisans Day returns the Central Sarasota Farmer’s Market (CSFM) on Saturday, November 1, in time for the holiday season.

Products in the lineup include pottery, terrariums, potted plant novelties, handmade cards and invitations, recycled furniture, baby items, jewelry, candles, soaps, loofahs, fragrances and wood crafts.

Shoppers can also sample the latest additions to the new Central Market General Store, including soups from the celebrated soup cookbook, Les Soups Fantastique de Monique, as well as pickles, jams and jellies from Sunshine Canning, and caramel sauces from Lick My Spoon.

The Central Sarasota Farmer’s Market meets every Saturday from 8 a.m. till 1 p.m. in the parking lot of the Sarasota County Technical Institute (SCTI), 4748 S. Beneva Road, Sarasota, Florida 34233. The farmer’s market features locally grown produce, fresh baked goods, food vendors, live entertainment, local artists, artisans and service providers -- in a convenient , pet-friendly location with plenty of parking and indoor restrooms.

Arts and Artisans Day is held the first Saturday of every month.
