VENICE, FL — Two people were rescued from a disabled boat in Venice waters Sunday night, according to a U.S. Coast Guard news release.

The boat, named Revival, was found about two miles west of the Venice inlet. Its operator reported a loss of steering.

Waves were 5 to 6 feet high at the time of the rescue and winds were about 15 knots, the Coast Guard said.
