Breezy Pass Touchless Parking System Launches In Sarasota
Sarasota has introduced the Breezy Pass as a touch-free way to enter, exit the city's parking garages.

SARASOTA, FL — Sarasota has introduced a new electronic, touch-free system to make it easier to use the city’s parking garages, according to a news release from the city.
Called Breezy Pass, the new system is similar to a toll road pass system and can be purchased through the city. It utilizes RFID technology to simplify the payment process and reduce the time spent finding parking, the city said. It also improves accessibility for individuals with disabilities and provides a faster, contactless entry for employees or anyone visiting the three city-operated garages.
The three city-operated parking garages are located at:

Commonly referred to as a permit, Breezy Pass is available in the Palm Avenue and State Street garages in downtown and the St. Armands Garage. A pass can be purchased for use in all three facilities, the downtown garages or just the St. Armands Garage, the city said. Users can choose to pay a flat monthly rate or pay the actual parking fee via debit account maintained on file with the city.
“We’re excited to be offering Breezy Pass and enhanced access to our award-winning parking facilities,” Parking Division Manager Mark Lyons said. “We want to encourage all members of the driving public to look into getting a Breezy Pass to make finding a parking space easier when visiting downtown or St. Armands.”
