Andres Sanchez-Linares, cello, and Ying Li, piano, will perform music by George Crumb, Robert Schumann, and Ludwig van Beethoven's Cello Sonata no. 3 in A major, Op. 69. Following intermission, they will be joined by violinist Daniel Jordan and violist Margaret Dyer Harris in a performance of Robert Schumann’s groundbreaking Piano Quartet in E-flat Major. Eddie has been singing and playing piano since he was eight years old. Attending the University of Miami, Eddie was in the Studio Music and Jazz Piano program. He entertained around the country and on cruise ships. Spending 15 great years in Nashville accompanying the Forester Sisters, who opened for Kenny Rogers, and traveling with Brenda Lee. For seven and a half years, Eddie was music director, pianist, conductor, and arranger for Engelbert Humperdinck. You’ll hear some jazz, blues, standards, ragtime, classical, pop, calypso, and country music. People will enjoy his renditions of songs by Jimmy Buffett, Leon Russell, Ray Charles, and Johnny Cash.

Sarasota Jewish Theatre (SJT) presents its annual end-of-season Community Conversation, moderated by SJT’s Associate Artistic Director Michael Raver, and featuring the playwrights of all three of this season’s Howard Millman Performance Series plays participating via Zoom. Community Conversation attendees will take part in a wide-ranging and comprehensive discussion about the central ideas explored in the plays, with a focus on the thought-provoking issues raised in the plays, and the confluence of incidents in the plays to events that are happening in our country today.
