League of Women Voters Sarasota County and Suncoast Searchlight Host Candidate Forum Ahead of August Election
Candidates appearing on the August 18, 2026, Primary ballot for Sarasota County School Board Districts 1 & 5 have been invited to this Sarasota County League of Women Votersand Suncoast Searchlight hosted forum.
The Sarasota County School Board is a non-partisan race. Therefore, this election will be the only School Board election this year.
In person attendance is encouraged, however, seating is limited so arrive early to secure your seat. Please invite your friends and neighbors and share our social media posts.
All forums will be live-streamed and recorded for viewing on the League’s YouTube Channel.
