Special Cinema at The Bay: The Rocky Horror Picture Show

Join the annual tradition of this cult classic under the stars at The Bay!

Celebrate the 4th Anniversary of The Bay with this cult classic that invites everyone to sing, shout, dress up and do "The Time Warp." Costumes and park-appropriate props encouraged! Actors from The Sarasota Players will be performing alongside the film as the "shadow cast."

(R) - Anticipation builds for a naive couple when they stumble upon the sensual and spooky lair of Dr. Frank-N-Furter in this campy rock 'n' roll classic.

Important Note: “The Rocky Horror Picture Show” is not your typical Cinema at The Bay screening— it’s a cult classic celebrated for its outrageous humor and interactive audience traditions.

Viewer discretion advised: Movie includes mature themes and irreverent dialogue that may not be suited for everyone.

Prop Etiquette: Part of the fun of The Rocky Horror Picture Show is the use of props. To keep The Bay clean and safe for everyone to enjoy, here are a few friendly reminders:

• This screening may draw a larger crowd, so please arrive early, stay patient, and be kind.
• A limited supply of park-friendly props will be available— come early to grab yours!
• When tossing props, aim to the sides, up, or behind you— never at the screen or cast members.
• Prohibited items: rice, open flames, confetti.
• After the show, please leave The Bay better than you found it. Please clean up your area and the area around you so the park is ready for the next day’s fun.

Thank you for keeping the experience festive, respectful, and welcoming to all.

Come hungry and thirsty! The Nest Café will be serving delicious food, fresh popcorn and refreshing drinks--- including a Rocky Horror special, the Time Warp Martini (featuring Blue Curacao, Sweet & Sour, and a photo-worthy surprise!)

Bring your blankets, chairs, and friends to add even more comfort and fun.

Cinema at The Bay is presented by The Desenberg Foundation.
