SARASOTA, FL — Celebrity chef Bobby Flay visited a Sarasota restaurant over the weekend.

The Food Network star stopped by Indigenous at 239 S. Links Ave. Friday night, the restaurant wrote in a Facebook post.

“Thanks (Bobby Flay) for hanging with our team last night! Great to see you,” Indigenous wrote in its post sharing an image of the chef with restaurant staff.

The restaurant, which opened in 2011, focuses on sustainable seafood and works with local fishermen, artisan and farmers.

Flay, the host of “Beat Bobby Flay,” owns several restaurant concepts, including Brasserie B and Amalfi at Caesars Palace Las Vegas and Bobby’s Burgers.
