Join us today at Ciao Gelato in Historic Downtown Venice for an evening of Art & Gelato. Local artist Luis Oliveira will be displaying his work from 6:30 - 8:30p.m.
Luis is a 35 year old gentlemen with Cerebral Palsy. Luis has limited mobility with his arms and legs, and is forced to paint with his head. "I pull from my life experiences battling with Cerebral Palsy and try to communicate my success and struggles through my artwork" says Luis.
For the time being, Luis does not have the ability to speak or paint with his hands. He has a head switch that connects to his computer and allows for him to move the mouse with his head. Luis has not allowed his disease to dictate what happens in his life, as he graduated from LSU and has written several books.
Join us tonight at Ciao Gelato - 317 W. Venice Ave. Venice, FL - from 6:30 - 8:30pm to celebrate Luis and his artwork.
