The Chalk Closing Party

Please join the festival volunteers, sponsors and artists on Sunday, November 16, at the Venice Community Center, 326 Nokomis Ave S, Venice, FL, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., as we close the seventh season of the Sarasota Chalk Festival and its inaugural season on the Island of Venice. The Closing Ceremony is your last opportunity to see and talk with the 2014 artists. Cheer as we award medals for artist’s performances, highlight photos and view a short documentary of the week’s festivities and making of the world record. Enjoy live music and dancing, light fare and a cash bar. Hear about our accomplishments and whether or not we broke the Guinness Book World Record for the largest 3D street painting. What a great way to complete the festival in time for viewing day on November 17. Tickets for the Chalk Closing Ceremony are $25 per person and can be purchased at www.chalkfestival.org/events.
