Circle K Shootout Under Investigation: North Port Police

NORTH PORT, FL — Police are investigating a Wednesday night shooting at the Circle K gas station at 1085 Grand Venture Drive.

The shooting was reported just before 11 p.m., the North Port Police Department wrote in a Facebook post.

Investigators confirmed that shots were fired and multiple people were involved, the agency said. There were no injuries reported.

The vehicles involved in the shootout have been recovered by police, who don’t believe it was a random incident.
