Longtime Sarasota Hooters Girl Sloan Miavitz Approaches Last Shift

Sloan Miavitz, who has worked at Sarasota Hooters for eight years will be hanging up her orange shorts. The restaurant is holding an event to celebrate Sloan during her last shift on Thursday, June 4 from 4:30 pm to 11 pm.

During her time at Hooters, as a server and bartender she has had many honors and achievements. Sloan represented Hooters of South Florida at several Miss Hooters International Pageants including placing first runner up in 2021. She also graced the Hooters calendar as Miss May 2023, Miss March 2022, Miss May 2021. You can find her featured on the back cover of this year’s 2026 calendar.

The Sarasota native has been active in giving back to the community with Sarasota Hooters. Some of her many achievements include serving as a Self-Help International Ambassador and a Cure on Wheels Ambassador. She has also been featured on several billboards, national television commercials, Barstool Sports promotions, Hooters Racing promo team and a MLP Games Contestant in the Bahamas during the calendar shoots.

“Sloan has made a tremendous impact at Sarasota Hooters. We wanted to hold this opportunity during her last shift for our Sarasota community to celebrate and thank her for her contributions to the restaurant,” said Hooters South Florida Director of Marketing Kristi Quarles. Sloan will be starting a new job in software sales.
