Colliers International Tampa Bay awarded 1.3-million-square-foot office leasing portfolio

Osprey S.A, LTD selects Colliers to handle leasing for 14 Class A office properties in Sarasota, Tampa and St. Petersburg

Osprey S.A., LTD has awarded Colliers International Tampa Bay the exclusive leasing assignment of 1.3 million square feet of Class A office space in Sarasota, Tampa and St. Petersburg.

The Osprey portfolio consists of 14 office properties, with eight located in Sarasota and another six located around the Tampa Bay area, in Tampa’s Rocky Point and West Shore Business District, East/Northeast Tampa and St. Petersburg’s Gateway submarket. The Sarasota properties total approximately 630,000 square feet and the Tampa/St. Petersburg properties total approximately 700,000 square feet.

Lori Hellstrom, CCIM, formerly Osprey’s Director of Leasing, has joined the Colliers team as a Director - Office Services, along with Fabienne Porter as Client Services Specialist. Hellstrom handled leasing for the portfolio’s Sarasota properties for seven years and the Tampa/St. Petersburg properties for the last year. She and Porter will continue representing the portfolio.

The properties in the portfolio have a combined occupancy rate of more than 80 percent and a high level of leasing activity.

The largest property in the portfolio is Sarasota City Center with 247,605 square feet and such notable tenants as Wells Fargo and Merrill Lynch. Other prominent assets in the portfolio include the 105,096-square-foot Castille at Carillon in St. Petersburg and the Westlake Corporate Center I & II in Tampa, which total 172,048 square feet.

With one of the largest leasing portfolios in Tampa Bay, Colliers already handles leasing for some of area’s largest office properties, including downtown Tampa’s Park Tower, with 472,762 square feet, and Fifth Third Center, with 281,187 square feet.
