Cops: Bayside Tech Sexually Battered Teenage Patients

The man was arrested Friday and police believe there may be more victims.

A 26-year-old Port Charlotte man faces two counts of felony lewd battery after Sarasota Police say he had inappropriate relations with two underage patients at Bayside Center for Behavioral Health.

Police received the first report of sexual misconduct on Jan. 21 with the second lodged on Jan. 28. Both victims were female patients at the mental health facility where the man worked as a tech. Both victims are 15, a media release from the police department stated.

Detectives say the man’s encounters with the first victim began around Jan. 8 and continued until Jan. 16. Encounters with the second victim are believed to have occurred in the same time frame and with the first victim present, the email stated.

Jeremy Henry was booked into the Sarasota County Jail Friday on two counts of felony lewd battery. He was being held Monday in lieu of $500,000 bond.
