‘Derelict’ Boat Removed From Sarasota Bay: Police
The Sarasota Police Department's dive team removed a "derelict" boat from Sarasota Bay on Tuesday.

SARASOTA, FL — A “derelict” boat was removed from Sarasota Bay near Hart’s Landing Tuesday by Sarasota Police Department’s dive team, SPD shared on its Facebook page.
The capsized 34-foot Cabin Cruiser was considered a marine hazard, police said. The dive team worked all day to raise the boat and remove it from the water.
After being removed, it was brought to the 10th Street Boat Ramp, where it’s awaiting disposal by the city’s Public Works department. The owner has been in contact with police.
