Veterans Ball
The Unique Umbrella hosts its seventh annual Veterans Ball Friday, 7 to 10 p.m., at Ruth Eckerd Hall in Clearwater. The evening honors the service of veterans and first responders.

This special event, scheduled Friday, 7 p.m., supports the Tampa Bay History Center’s mission to preserve and tell the stories about why the Tampa Bay area is such a special place to live.

Plant City Pioneer Day
This annual event, scheduled for Saturday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the 1914 High School Community Center in Plant City, will feature live music, arts & crafts, museum tours, Living history, displays, and vendors.
Manatee River Artists Guild Art & Craft Show
More than 25 artists will show and sell their work Saturday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., at the River Club at Waterlefe in Bradenton. There will be oil, acrylic and watercolor paintings, plus Raku, scratch art, fused glass jewelry, quilts, crocheted items, photography, greeting cards, wine bags and tags, Christmas decorations, decorated shells, jewelry, including dichroic cabochons, decoupaged trays, wall hangings, home décor and more!
ArtsVenture
Join Creative Pinellas for a free family-friendly arts festival at Largo’s Pinewood Park. Beginning with a special Veteran’s Day commemoration, the event continues with an arts and crafts market, live performances, gallery exhibition, craft activities, food and more!
Wonders of Wildlife Festival
Edward Medard Park will host its fifth annual Wonders of Wildlife Festival at Medard Park in Plant City on Saturday, 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. It will include a live bird of prey show, a live reptile show, artist, craft and food booths, and live puppet shows on protecting the planet's animals.
Eternal Reefs 25th Annual Block Party
Enjoy food trucks, arts and crafts, giveaways, games and a video showing Eternal Reefs progress over 25 years on Saturday, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., at 1126 Central Ave. in Sarasota. Guests will have the opportunity to sign gigantic reef balls which will be deployed to the ocean at a later date. For each signature garnered, Eternal Reefs will make a donation to the United States Submarine Veterans Inc.
Come Out St. Pete Family Day
Come Out St. Pete hosts its family day celebration Saturday, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., at Seminole Park in Historic Kenwood. The event features local vendors and nonprofit organizations, live music, drag performances, and the unfurling of the 375-foot-long rainbow flag.
Tampa International Food & Arts Festival
This food and art festival will take place in Perry Harvey Sr. Park in downtown Tampa on Saturday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The event will include street foods, a fresh market, food trucks, specialty packaged foods, sauces, spices, vegan and gluten-free options, confections, arts and live painting, home decor, jewelry, fine crafts, vintage items and Boho-inspired items.
Dogtoberfest
Suncoast Animal League and Ride 4 the Animals will host the 15th annual Dogtoberfest on Saturday, 11 a.m to 5 p.m., at Dunedin’s Highlander Park. The event will include various vendors, food trucks, a cycling event, an adoption tent and more.
Junior League of Sarasota Jamboree
The annual Jamboree eventis Junior League of Sarasota’s family friendly event of the league year. This year’s event, which takes place Saturday, 2 to 5 p.m., at Jungle Gardens will be full of family, flamingos and fun. Proceeds from this event will support the Junior League of Sarasota’s signature focus, providing assistance to individuals who are aging out of the foster care system.
Ybor City Flea
Join the Indie Flea as it launches a new series in historic Ybor City on the second Sunday of each month from noon to 4 p.m., November through April, at the renovated 1920 Ybor City venue, 1920 E 7th Ave., Ybor City, as well as a street market along the 1900 block of historic 7th Avenue.
