Venice, FL (September 2, 2014) – Art and craft enthusiasts will have the opportunity to explore a wide array of original handcrafted art and affordable gift items this weekend during the 6th Downtown Venice Craft Festival, September 6 - 7, 2014. The top crafters in the country will set up their exhibits along Miami Avenue and will be present for the duration of the event. They welcome the opportunity to discuss their work and will also be accepting commissions. A Green Market will offer exotic plants and orchids, body products, gourmet spices, jams, dips, spreads and much more. Admission is free and open to the public.

This is just one of the many art events that festival producers American Craft Endeavors and Howard Alan Events bring to Downtown Venice and include 2 fine art shows, the Venice Art Classic each March, and the Downtown Venice Art Festival each November, in addition to a number of craft fairs throughout the season. These highly anticipated outdoor-juried festivals are popular for the quality artists and crafters they feature. A portion of the proceeds will benefit Venice Main Street.
