Driver Clocked Going 99 MPH Over Ringling Causeway: Sarasota Police
A driver was caught going more than 60 miles over the speed limit over the John Ringling Causeway Sunday night, Sarasota police said.
SARASOTA, FL - A driver was caught going 99 mph in a 35-mph zone — more than 60 miles over the speed limit — Sunday night, Sarasota police shared on Facebook.
The speeding driver was stopped coming over the John Ringling Causeway around 11:40 p.m., police said. He has a mandatory court date to set his fine.
“Please slow down,” police said. “The life you save could be your own.”
