Driver Dies After Being Thrown From Car On I-75: FL Highway Patrol
A driver died after losing control and overturning on I-75 in Sarasota early Sunday morning, FL Highway Patrol said.
SARASOTA, FL — A driver from Ormond Beach died after losing control and overturning on I-75 early Sunday morning, according to a Florida Highway Patrol news release.
The 38-year-old man was near the Bee Ridge Road exit just before 1 a.m. when he drove off the road, entered the grassy shoulder to the west and overturned.
He was thrown from the car and later pronounced dead at the scene, FHP said.
