Detectives are investigating a drowning that happened Sunday afternoon near Lido Beach, Sarasota police said.
SARASOTA, FL — A drowning near Lido Beach is under investigation in Sarasota, authorities said.
The drowning happened Sunday, just before 3 p.m., in the 1900 block of Benjamin Franklin Drive, according to a Sarasota Police Department news release.
Investigators say the drowning was an isolated incident and the public is not in any danger.
