Pencils. Books. Teacher’s dirty looks. These are the staples of an American education. Another classic component is gym class. Athletic games and activities that can be exhilarating for the tough and strong, humiliating for the weak.

One child found this out the hard way whilst being pelted in the chest by a dodgeball. Who threw it? None other than Miami Heat basketball superstar Dwyane Wade. The two-time NBA champion made a quick move to the right side of the court, weaving past a pair of his teammates. Betwixt the three-point and half-court lines, Wade aimed for the child closest to the wall. The camera panned over to the struck kid, the ball moving so fast that it’s impossible to tell if Wade’s opponent attempted to catch the dodgeball or placed arms across body in a bid to protect vulernable organs. Either way, Dwyane Wade won fair and square.
