Early Voting Opens Saturday in Sarasota

Sarasota County voters who want to have their say in the Aug. 26 Primary Election a little early can do so starting Saturday.

The county’s Supervisor of Elections Office has announced locations for early voting.

Registered voters can start heading to the polls at 8:30 a.m. Aug. 16 at the following locations:

· Sarasota County Terrace Building, 2001 Adams Lane, Sarasota

· R.L. Anderson Building, 4000 Tamiami Trail S., Venice

· Biscayne Plaza, 13640 Tamiami Trail, North Port

The polls will be open from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. daily Aug. 16-23.

A photo and signature identification are both required per Florida law.
