Ellenton Woman Charged In November Shooting: Sarasota County Sheriff

SARASOTA COUNTY, FL — An Ellenton woman was charged in relation to a November shooting, according to a Sarasota County Sheriff’s Department news release.

Alexanderia Lisa Sollock was arrested Friday and charged with premeditated attempted first-degree murder (accessory after the fact,) the agency said.

Her boyfriend, Carlos Henry-Antonio Herrera, was arrested last week on two charges in connection with the shooting, attempted first-degree murder and discharging a firearm from a vehicle.

On Nov. 23, around 3 a.m., the sheriff’s office received multiple 911 calls about shots fired in the 1100 block of Grantham Drive, ABC 7 reported.

Patrol units and rescue personnel found the victim slumped over in the driver’s seat of a vehicle with multiple gunshot wounds, according to SCSO. The victim was brought to Sarasota Memorial Hospital.

Investigators spoke with one witness who heard several shots in the area. A home nearby was hit by a bullet, and several penetrated the locked vehicle, the sheriff’s office said.

The investigation is ongoing.
