Escape Attractions Coming to Sarasota, Tampa
Visitors have 60 minutes to figure out the mysteries found inside.

Think you have what it takes to make a jail break or find your way home after an encounter with the Mad Hatter?
Escape Countdown, opening soon in Sarasota and Tampa, will provide you the venue to test your skills. Based on the “escape room” concept made popular in Japan, the two new attractions center on a “fully immersive entertainment game where teams of two or more work together to discover clues, solve puzzles and use critical thinking skills to escape ‘the room’ within 60 minutes,” a media release stated.
Escape Countdown’s Tampa Bay locations will offer Jail Break and Mad Hatter themes initially. Themes will change regularly to keep the attractions fresh and challenging for visitors.

“Our goal is to make this a premium experience,” said Brent Alexander, CEO of Houdini Partner Group, the company behind Escape Countdown. “We want to be more like the Disney of escape room attractions. We are excited to see how the public will respond to this unique concept that is taking the world by storm.”
Firm opening dates have not yet been set for the Tampa and Sarasota locations. A mid-December time frame, however, has been targeted.
