The annual 2012 Annual Air Fair will be held April 21st and 22nd at the Sarasota
Radio Control Squadron model airplane flying field in Rothenback Park at the
East end of Bee Ridge Road 3 miles east of I-75 off Exit 207.
Theevent is free to the public and features Large radio controlled Model Airplanes
that must have wing spans of 80 inches or larger. Modelers come from 3 states to fly at this
outstanding site that features a 100 X 500 foot blacktop runway.
Over 40 planes will fly at the event like P-40 Warhawks, P-51D Mustangs, P-47 Thunderbolts, B-25 Mitchell bomber, J3 Cubs etc. Flying goes from 9 Am till 2PM both Saturday April 21st and Saturday April 22nd.

There is a concession stand at the field with food and drinks, porta-potties and sun shelters.
