Create a textured pendant in golden bronze set with a sparkling cubic zirconia and a bronze leaf pendant embellished with a sparkling cubic zirconia in this introduction to bronze metal clay. Try out the instructor’s selection of texture plates and rubber stamps and learn to set a CZ in your project. Students are encouraged to bring their own favorite stamp or texture plate and leaves to incorporate in to the design. We will also walk around the garden and you’ll learn how to choose a suitable specimen for impression. Pendants will be formed, dried, fired and finished in this two day workshop, including a variety of antiquing and polishing techniques. Instructor will supply tools for use in class, or students may purchase their own tool kit for $15.
