Instructor: Susanna Spann
While value is the skeleton of a painting and color is the soul, composition is the muscle and needs to be understood to have a chance of a successful painting. Susanna will help you understand through a power point presentation.
Susanna Spann has earned her signature status in the American Watercolor Society, National Watercolor Society and the Florida Watercolor Society. Her painting, “Dar’s Bar” which won the Best of Show in the Florida Watercolor Society’s 2011, was accepted into this year’s American Watercolor Society’s exhibition in New York City.

Ms. Spann received her Bachelor of Fine arts and Master of Arts degrees at Arizona State University followed by 3 years at the Art Center College of Design in Los Angeles, California.
Her major business has been the Outdoor Art Festivals since 1969 and she presently attends 10 shows a year.
She taught part-time at the Ringling School of Art and Design for 15 years and now teaches several workshops a year on various skills relating to watercolor.
