Wanted to let you know that next Friday, June 3rd, from 2 pm to 4 pm, the Friendship Volunteer Center is offering a Community Disaster Preparedness Workshop here at the Foundation. Ed McCrane, Sarasota County’s Emergency Management Director, will present information helping local nonprofits/ associations to better sustain a hurricane or other disaster—and to better serve the community in its wake.
