Creating Community Everywhere Conference

Creating Community Everywhere 8:00 am – 4:30 pm Coffee/Registration/Exhibits at 8:00 am. Programs begins at 9:00 am. This interactive forum will bring people together to explore different community models, and connect with others who share their desire for a deeper sense of community.  Topics will include creating community where you already live, establishing a housing model with shared living space, and forming new cohousing communities.  The keynote speaker will be Dene Peterson, Founder of Elder Spirit, an Abingdon, Virginia-based cohousing community, founded in 1995.  Sponsorship opportunities available.
