People have been making decorative paper for centuries and now it’s your turn! Plain papers become beautiful papers to keep as is, use for book covers, end papers, wrapping papers, collage onto frames or boxes or many other ideas. The focus will be on learning the basics of paste paper and marbling techniques. Other techniques will also be presented using colors and patterns. No special skills are needed, just a sense of adventure! Students should bring apron or work shirt, a variety of paper types and colors if they have them. I will provide basic papers. Bring a sack lunch.
