Members of Faith Lutheran spend weeks fine-tuning recipes and selecting the best ingredients to go into the delicious, hand-made and home-baked cookies sold during the Cookie Walk. The theme of this year’s Walk is “Gingerbread” – but every flavor and type of cookie, from perennial-favorite chocolate chip to lemon bars and everything in between, will be on sale. Cookie recipes will represent the global community, with specialty cookies hailing from countries such as Germany, France, Sweden and Mexico. Many of the cookies are holiday-themed – festive snowflake cookies, Christmas tree cookies, even cookies that look like Santa!
